Do you wish there were a local Transition group in your neighborhood? Do you wish you knew how to get started? Do you yearn to connect with other people who are similarly "thinking about it" or people who are just getting going? Saturday, November 5 is your chance.
"Training for Transition, L.A. Style" gives you understanding and skills to cultivate a new community consciousness within your local neighborhood. You'll hear stories from Los Angeles veterans about how they got things started. You'll learn about the new framework trickling through the Transition network, the product of founder Rob Hopkins' new book (being released this week!). You'll learn about the Transition action that is happening around the greater L.A. basin. And you'll be able to connect with like-minded others. The many facets of the day include experiential and interactive sections, with an emphasis on guidance for prospective leaders. If you are wondering how to get started, here is your launching place.
Full information about the day is at http://TransitionLA.org/events/LAO_info.htm Preregistration is required.
